Welcome to Greenfield School!

Welcome to Greenfield School! I hope you will use this website to learn how a Greenfield education is an education that defines a lifetime. If you are a current student or parent, please take time to find information pertaining to your family, especially our  grade/homework/attendance program, FACTS.

To our visitors, please explore what it means to be a part of the Greenfield family. You will see in our mission statement that Greenfield School promotes the development of the total student, academically through a balanced challenging college preparatory program, socially through leadership opportunities, extracurricular activities and community service, aesthetically through a program of fine arts, physically through interscholastic athletics and a physical education program, and morally through affirmation of honesty, integrity, responsibility, tolerance and the American ideals of freedom and democracy.

Please plan a visit to see our caring faculty, small classes, safe and nurturing environment and challenging curriculum. Using a traditional schedule of academic courses, we also offer classes in art, music, library, Spanish, computer, hands-on science, and physical education in preschool through twelfth grade. Students can join athletic teams beginning in the six grade and all teams have a no-cut policy. We are proud to offer college awareness classes beginning in ninth grade with trips to visit in-state as well as out-of-state colleges and universities. The Naviance software program is used to provide students with college planning and career assessment tools.

I believe the foundation of a good education is to encourage each student to understand the value of learning.  The role of teachers, parents, and community members includes setting expectations for the students and encouraging them to strive to do their best.  I strongly believe that Greenfield School has a unique ability to succeed in this endeavor due to its high standards and deep sense of community.
