About Me

Daniel Johnson is from Rocky Mount, NC, and joined the Greenfield family in 2005. After graduating from North Carolina Wesleyan University with a degree in History and Math he went on to be an Assistant Baseball Coach at NC Wesleyan (1999-2002, 2004-2005) and Louisburg College (2002-2003). Before his time at Greenfield, he taught 5^th and 6^th grade Language Arts and History at Enfield Academy (2003-2004) where he coached football and baseball and served as the Athletic Director. At Greenfield, Daniel serves as the Director of Facilities and Grounds, Assistant Athletic Director, and Head Baseball Coach, and throughout his time, has led the baseball program to 2 State Runner-Up Finishes and a State Championship (2015). His son, Brooks, is a student at Greenfield. Outside of school, Daniel enjoys hunting with his son and nephew and coaching his son's baseball team.
