Notification Procedure

 

 

If weather conditions make it necessary to have a delayed opening or to cancel school for the day:

  • an announcement will be made on the following television stations:

WRAL - Raleigh, channel 5 (cable 5)

WTVD - Durham, channel 11 (cable 11)

WNCT - Greenville, channel 9 (cable 13)

 
If weather conditions make it necessary to dismiss early:
  • an announcement will be made on the television stations as above
  • an announcement will be made on the following local radio stations

WVOT - 1420 AM

WLLY - 1350 AM
