About Me

          Renee is from Wilson, NC, and came to Greenfield in 2021. She is a graduate of Fike High School (1989) and UNCW (1994), where she received her bachelor's degree in Special Education, minor in Psychology, and certification in Behavioral/Emotional Disorders and General Special Education K-12. She is a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Exceptional Needs Specialist (2009). Renee is also a tutor with the Augustine Literacy Project. She previously worked for and retired from Wilson County Schools. Renee's title at Greenfield is Student Services Associate, and she serves multiple roles including teaching guidance K-8 and meeting with individual students or small groups when needed. Renee also serves as a liaison to the Language Center by reading and interpreting psychoeducational reports and writing Education Accommodations Plans. When a student at Greenfield experiences difficulty, Renee meets with the students, teachers, and parents to come up with a plan that best meets the student's needs. Renee is married to Robbie, and they have two children, Avery Rose and Joshua (Grennfield Class of 2024). Renee enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
