About Me

Cheryl Watkins is excited to join Greenfield School as a Lower School Assistant and Preschool Assistant. This is her first year at Greenfield, and she looks forward to getting to know the students, families, and faculty while becoming an active member of the school community. Cheryl earned her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Wilson Community College in 2012. She has extensive experience working with children in a variety of early childhood settings, including daycare centers, Head Start programs, and as a nanny. She is also CPR and First Aid certified and has completed numerous professional development trainings in early childhood education. Outside of school, Cheryl recently married her husband in July. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, making jewelry, creating handmade soaps, tackling DIY projects, traveling, binge-watching television series, and spending quality time with her family.
