Middle School Reading and Social Studies

Middle School literature is the forum for students to explore and understand the past, present, and future through literature and writing. By reading various genres of literature; such as short stories, fiction, non-fiction, oral tradition, drama, poetry, and various novels; students will broaden, relate to, and share their perspectives. Their voices will not only be heard through discussions about literature, but through their writing as well. Through encouragement, support, and fun literature will successfully educate and hopefully inspire our young writers and readers to become aware of the world around them and help them to fulfill their goals. I look forward to educating the whole student and truly believe that Greenfield is an education that defines a lifetime!
