She’s served as a captain on both the volleyball and soccer teams. She has been an active member of the Buddies not Bullies club, Environmental Club, and the Spanish Club.
She has volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club and attended the Shelton Leadership Challenge Tier 1 and Tier II programs.
Riya has been accepted to UNC Charlotte, East Carolina University, UNC Greensboro and Meredith College. Riya is unsure about a major at this point, but will be attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the fall.

- How long have you been at GS? I’ve been here since 1st grade.
- What has been your favorite class and why? My favorite class was Mrs. Green's study hall last year. we had a lot of fun times there.
- What is your favorite thing to do outside of school? Hang out with friends, listen to music, I like to paint, etc.
- What is on your playlist? I listen to a lot of rap and hip hop.
- What colleges have you been accepted to and where are you going? I've been accepted to Meredith College, ECU, UNC Charlotte, UNC Greensboro. I'm going to UNC Charlotte.
- What are you planning on majoring in? I'm going into college undecided.
- What is your favorite show? My favorite shows are rick and Morty, modern family, and family guy.
- If you could do high school over again, what would you do differently? I would do more things within the school and talk to more different people.
- What accomplishment are you most proud of? I'm most proud of the rock climbing wall my camp made for the boys and girls club.
- What will you miss the most about Greenfield School? I think I'm going to miss the people most of all.
