Ms. Denton Was Sworn In as the Director for the North Carolina Science Leadership Association

We are absolutely thrilled to share an amazing achievement within the Greenfield community that has filled us with pride! Over the weekend, our STEM Coordinator, Ms. Denton, was officially sworn in as the Director of the North Carolina Science Leadership Association (NCSLA)!

The NCSLA stands as a beacon for advancing science education, fostering innovative ideas among educators, and influencing crucial science-related legislative policies. Ms. Denton's remarkable journey with the NCSLA began seven years ago when she embarked on a path as a NCSLA Fellow. She dedicated herself to a two-year fellowship program specially designed to nurture science education leaders, elevating their professional competence to new heights.

With this remarkable achievement, Ms. Denton not only joins the ranks of NCSLA leadership but also positions herself as a catalyst for progress in science education across North Carolina. Her presence within the NCSLA will facilitate collaboration with educators around North Carolina. Together, they will work to shape the future of science education in our state.
