It is hard to believe that it is once again time to meet and select new members for recognition as part of our Order of the Round Table. Three years goes by so fast, and much has happened since we were last together. We are so very fortunate that Beth Peters is leading Greenfield as the new Head of School, and that great things continue to go on in Greenfield’s classrooms, on the campus, and in the school community at large. As we approach Greenfield’s Golden Anniversary in 2020, there is much to be proud of!
Attached is the Order of the Round Table By-Laws, a list of our inductees, and a nomination form. These forms will also be made available to the Greenfield School community via the website and for pick up in the school office, and we will solicit nominations from our extended school family. Please consider and nominate any person whom you would like to propose for membership.
Our Round Table induction dinner has been tentatively planned for Sunday, April 2, 2017, at 5 p.m. at Savory and Sweet, in the Walston Center in Wilson. Details and an invitation will follow as soon as the new members of the Order of the Round Table have been selected. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend!
The Order of the Round Table honors individuals who have supported Greenfield with their gifts and service, and it is so important to take time to say “thank you” to those who have meant so much. It is also important for us as a school community to come together and celebrate what our school stands for: Honor, Duty, Loyalty, and Tradition . . . and an education that delivers excellence and a joy of learning to our students. We say with pride that Greenfield School offers and education that defines a lifetime. We will celebrate the people and the spirit of our school on April second.
