About Me

Originally from Wilson, NC, dedicated teacher Michelle Anderson brings over 30 years of experience, having graduated from UNC-Wilmington with a degree in Elementary Education and ECU with a Master’s in the same field. She's an accomplished educator, holding her National Board Teaching Certification. At Greenfield, Michelle holds the position of Kindergarten Teacher. Her passion for teaching shines through as she values witnessing the excitement of learning in her young students and celebrating their progress throughout the year and proudly declares that Kindergarten is the best grade ever! Outside the classroom, Michelle values her family time. She's married to her husband Neal and has two wonderful grown children, a son named Will and a daughter named Katherine, and let's not forget about her adorable grand dog, Avery! When she's not teaching or spending time with her family, Michelle enjoys traveling and working in her yard. She's looking forward to the upcoming school year, teaching her small class, and being part of the tight-knit family environment at Greenfield.
