About Me

Barbara Bolt, originally from Snow Hill, NC has been a proud Wilson resident for the last 21 years. Her professional background is nothing less than extraordinary, from receiving her B.A. in Psychology from NC State to obtaining her M.A. in Psychology from ECU. Previously she worked at Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh, NC as the Assistant Director of Admission, stayed busy as a stay-at-home mom, and worked at First Presbyterian Weekday School in Wilson for 12 years. At Greenfield, Barbara holds the position of Second Grade Assistant, helping with our amazing lower school students. Throughout the years she has given guidance to many students with the idea that when children feel safe and secure in their learning environment, they grow, mature, have fun, and become more confident throughout their academic journeys. Throughout her career, she has found fulfillment in helping students become the best they can be by encouraging and cheering them on so that in the long run they are proud of themselves and their amazing accomplishments. Throughout the academic year, she looks forward to getting to know her co-workers as well as her students and their families. On her days off she enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her husband and sons.
