About Me

          Stacey Gray is originally from upstate New York, in the small town of White Sulphur Springs. She has a thorough professional education background teaching 3-year-olds, working in RSP classrooms, showing a special needs student, and working as an instructional assistant for the Wilson County School district. She will be graduating in May 2024 with her bachelor's in University Studies with a concentration in Education and Human Services from East Carolina University. At Greenfield, Stacey serves as an Instructional Assistant for 4th Grade. Her teaching style is guided by her love of the moments students understand a concept which leads to joyous excitement from students. Her favorite quote is “Teachers are the only profession that teaches other professions” which truly highlights the importance of academic success in an innovative and collaborative learning environment. Stacey's teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that each child possesses an individual learning style. Her style is rooted in creativity, constantly seeking new ways to cultivate a fun and peaceful environment. She has 4 children and 3 grandchildren and has spent 20 years homeschooling her children while engaging in the public school arena. She looks forward to an amazing academic year whole supporting students to the best of her ability while she guides them into their own amazing gifts and abilities.
