About Me

MaryJo Birschbach brings over 16 years of experience in education, spanning elementary through high school. She holds a Bachelor's in Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University and a Master's in School Administration from Western Carolina University. A trained educator with a background in teaching, administration, and program development, MaryJo has successfully implemented instructional strategies and initiatives that support diverse learners and improve student outcomes. After several years in the performing arts non-profit sector, she is excited to return to the classroom with fresh perspectives and expanded skills. MaryJo is married and has four children, three of whom attend Greenfield School in both the lower and upper schools. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, attending concerts and live shows across the Southeast, traveling with her family, collecting rocks, and volunteering in the local community alongside her children. She is thrilled to join the Greenfield community and looks forward to working with students and families in the upcoming year.
