Scholarship Opportunities

Greenfield School is proud to offer two Janet B. Beaman Academic Scholarships in honor of the dedication and legacy of former teacher and Head of School, Janet Beaman.

Scholarship Opportunities

• One scholarship for a rising 9th or 10th grade student who has never been enrolled in Greenfield School (grades K–12).
• One scholarship for a current Greenfield 8th grade student entering 9th grade.

Selection Criteria
Recipients will be chosen by a faculty committee appointed by the Head of School. The committee seeks students who demonstrate:

• Outstanding academic achievement
• Strong character and leadership
• Well-rounded involvement and contributions

Application Requirements

• Written essays
• One teacher recommendation
• One community recommendation
• Interview with the selection committee
• Superior entrance exam scores (new applicants only)

Scholarship Renewal Requirements
Recipients must:

• Maintain a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5
• Pass all courses each semester
• Remain in good disciplinary standing, with no suspensions or Honor Code violations

Application Deadlines

• Current Greenfield 8th Grade Students: Applications due April 28, 2026. Recipient announced at the Awards Ceremony on May 21, 2026.
• New 9th or 10th Grade Applicants: Applications due June 22, 2026. Recipient notified by July 6, 2026.
