Fine Arts Home

Fine Arts play a major role in a student's life.  At Greenfield, our students experience both art and music classes.  The art program which provides a non-verbal release for ideas, emotions, and self-images, causes interaction among students and gives students an opportunity to experience art both as a creator and spectator.  Students in K-7 attend art once per week, and students in 8-12 have the option of taking it as an elective course of study.

The music program at Greenfield involves students from pre-school through 12th grade and has as its aim, to increase the sensitivity of all the children to the value of music as art.  Students not only sing in class, but play instruments, dance, conduct, and occasionally compose.
