About Me
Jennifer Long is excited to join Greenfield School as a 4th grade teacher. She brings 30 years of teaching experience in Rockingham County, Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, Wilson County, and Wake County. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (K–6) and a Master’s in Elementary Education (K–12) with a concentration in Reading from UNC-Greensboro. Jennifer is also a National Board Certified Teacher in Middle Childhood Generalist. She is the proud mother of two children: Emma, a sophomore at Western Carolina University, and Tanner, who, along with his wife Maddie, is expecting a baby boy at the end of September—making Jennifer a soon-to-be Gigi! Jennifer shares that the faculty, staff, parents, and students at Greenfield have been wonderfully welcoming, and she is thrilled to begin what she considers her “next big adventure.”
