About Me

Kevin McCann joins Greenfield as a Middle and Upper School history teacher. Outside the classroom, Kevin enjoys hiking, playing squash, and spending time with his family. In his early twenties, he obtained Irish citizenship and spent several years living, working, and studying in Europe, eventually learning German well enough to study at Humboldt University in Berlin while working as an English teacher and tour guide. What began as a way to support himself through graduate school became a passion for teaching, particularly as he witnessed the remarkable growth of students over time. Kevin was drawn to Greenfield by the opportunity to join a growing school and be closer to family.
