Description
The Admissions Director serves as the primary steward of the school’s enrollment process, leading all aspects of student recruitment, admissions, and new family onboarding for grades PS–12. This role is responsible for attracting mission-aligned families, ensuring a seamless admissions experience, and effectively communicating the value of the school to prospective families. The Admissions Director also oversees promotional messaging, provides guidance on tuition assistance programs (including Opportunity Scholarship and indexed tuition), and ensures clarity and consistency in admissions policies.

Greenfield School’s mission is to promote the development of the total child in a challenging, college-preparatory environment. The Admissions Director plays a critical role in advancing this mission by enrolling students and families who will thrive in and contribute to the life of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

Admissions & Enrollment Management
· Lead and manage the full admissions process for PS–12, from inquiry through enrollment
· Develop and execute strategic enrollment plans to meet annual enrollment goals
· Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective students and families
· Review applications, coordinate admissions decisions, and communicate outcomes
· Analyze admissions data and trends to inform strategy and improve yield
· Partner with division coordinators to monitor student retention and re-enrollment
· Analyze attrition trends and recommend strategies to improve retention
· Oversee international student enrollment

Recruitment & Outreach
· Serve as the primary ambassador for the school to prospective families
· Plan and host admissions events (open houses, campus tours, shadow days, etc.)
· Build relationships with feeder schools, churches, and community organizations
· Represent the school at community events and recruitment opportunities

New Family Onboarding & Orientation
· Design and oversee a comprehensive new student and family orientation program
· Ensure a welcoming, organized transition for all newly enrolled students
· Partner with academic and student life teams to support onboarding success

Communications & Marketing Support
· Collaborate with marketing/communications staff to develop and update promotional materials (print, digital, and web)
· Ensure all admissions messaging clearly reflects the school’s mission, programs, and value
· Manage timely, professional communication with prospective families throughout the admissions process

Financial Assistance & Tuition Communication
· Educate prospective and current families about tuition options, including indexed tuition models
· Provide guidance on the Opportunity Scholarship program and assist families in navigating the application process
· Communicate admissions policies, deadlines, and financial aid procedures clearly and consistently
· Coordinate with the Business Office on determining and communicatng indexed tuition awards

Policy & Process Management
· Maintain and update admissions policies and procedures
· Maintain student confidentiality
· Ensure compliance with school policies and applicable regulations
· Streamline admissions workflows for efficiency and excellent customer experience
· Develop and manage admissions budget

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
· Experience in admissions, enrollment management, education or related field
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for relationship-building
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Alignment with the mission and values of the school

Reporting Structure
· Reports to: Head of School
· Works closely with: Academic leadership, marketing/communications, finance office, and student services

Work Environment
· Full-time, year-round position, with reduced summer office hours
· Occasional evening and weekend responsibilities for events and outreach
