Class of 2019 graduates from Greenfield

Greenfield School sent 18 seniors from the class of 2019 on their way rejoicing Friday, May 31st, at its 46thannual commencement exercises. Mr. David Fansler, Upper School Science faculty, gave the commencement address.

Mr. Fansler delivered his address centered around a book, “Graduation for Babies,” and a copy of it can be found on our website under the Academics tab, Upper School.   Mr. Fansler has been teaching at Greenfield for 3 years and members of this senior class have been in his classes each of those 3 years. 

Students in Greenfield's class of 2019 were offered more than $2,000,000.00 in scholarship awards from colleges, universities, and organizations. Greenfield’s graduates will enroll at 18 different colleges and universities in 5 states. One student received the Morehead Jackson Stone received the Morehead Cain Scholarship to attend UNC-Chapel Hill, Safa Ahmed, the only student chosen out of all applicants, received the Legacy Scholarship for Meredith College.  Grayson Buchanan was accepted into the Global Gap Year Fellow from UNC-Chapel Hill.
