Betsy Peters (class of 2007) showcases Off Road Journey exhibit

Greenfield Alum, Betsy Peters Rascoe (07) has been working on an exhibit about Eastern North Carolina with 2 NCSU Design Grads. This is not connected to Design Dimension, more of a personal project developed with a college classmate and retired coworker. The opening is this Friday.

Off Route Journals (facebook link) is a collaboration between artists and designers Mike Cindric, Sam Cox, and Betsy Peters Rascoe. The exhibit is a participatory love letter to the unique people and landscapes of Eastern North Carolina.

As a team, they engaged in a series of journeys through Eastern NC traversing highways 64, 264, 70, and I-40 east of I-95. Rather than rushing to the beach, they took things slowly. They stopped, looked, listened, and engaged.

Join her for the Exhibit Opening on April 7th, as they develop a greater appreciation and understanding for the possibilities and challenges facing Eastern North Carolina.

On display at the Visual Art Exchange in Raleigh NC: April 7 - 27
