About Me

Originally from Jacksonville, NC, Meg joined the Greenfield family in 2022.  She attended Coastal Carolina Community College (A.A. ‘07) and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (B.A. ‘09). In 2010, she began teaching limited courses for Coastal Carolina Community College and attending Morehead State University pursuing her Master’s in English Literature (‘12). Obtaining her M.A. led to her accepting a full-time teaching position with Wilson Community College teaching primarily freshman composition. Now at Greenfield, she teaches middle school Reading and Language Arts.  She also serves as one of the advisors for the 7th grade NC Tar Heel Junior Historian Project. Outside of teaching, Meg loves to spend time with her husband Thomas, and their three children, two of which are Greenfield Knights.
