About Me

Katy King has taught history and English at Greenfield for over thirty years. During her teaching career, she has been named a Teaching Fellow at the US Holocaust Museum and has attended and led seminars in Holocaust Studies, Social Justice, and Teaching the Humanities through Art. Currently, she teaches all the World History courses, including AP, but has also taught US History and all of the non-AP English courses for grades 8 and up. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing bridge, visiting with her grandchildren, and binging Netflix TV shows and documentaries of dubious value. Although she has lived through amazing history, she often reminds her students that she was not there when the Great Wall of China was built.
