Our last senior in the Class of 2021 is Nathan Woodard.

Nathan’s true love is baseball, and he has played for travel teams and became a key member of the baseball team upon arriving at Greenfield. He has won multiple awards both at Greenfield and locally on the state level and has served as a captain on his teams. Nathan has also played basketball and cross country at Greenfield, earning a state championship in basketball.


Our next senior spotlight is Justin Holland.

Justin’s one true love is baseball, and he has definitely played a lot of it! He plays travel ball for his beloved Dirt Bags travel baseball team and has been a pivotal member of the Greenfield baseball team since he arrived on campus. Justin has won countless awards both here at Greenfield but also at the local level, often as the MVP on the field. He was also a key member of the Greenfield basketball team, winning a state championship his 10th grade year.


Our next senior spotlight is Alex Garner.

Alex has been very involved on and off campus. She has worked at the Imagination Station and attended the Shelton Leadership Challenge as well as the Wake Forest Summer Immersion program in psychology. She has been a member of the National Honor Society, Chick-fil-A Leader Academy, Youth and Government, Environmental Club, Spanish Club and Buddies not Bullies.


We kick off this week of senior presentations with Sanya Aggarwal!

Sanya loved volunteering at Save A Youth so much and when COVID hit she missed being able to help in some way. So, she created, designed and implemented a mural project to give back to that organization that meant so much to her. She has also been an active volunteer with the Wilson Youth Council and attended both Tier I and Tier II programs at the Shelton Leadership Challenge.


Our final senior spotlight this week is senior, Jeremy Alvarez!

Jeremy’s first love is soccer, and he has played a lot of it! He has played soccer at Greenfield, as well as WYSA and has even traveled overseas to learn and play. He has won multiple awards both at the local and state level as well as through Max Preps. Jeremy helped his team win three state championships in soccer. Jeremy will be continuing his soccer career college, so we get to continue to watch him do what he loves! He was also a key member of the Cross-Country team at Greenfield.


Thursday’s senior spotlight is senior, Radhika Patel!

Radhika has been active in many clubs to include National Honor Society, Chick-fil-A Leader Academy, Spanish Club and Environmental Club serving as the secretary for both, Headbands for Hope, Buddies not Bullies, and the Student Government Association.


Our next senior spotlight is Ruth Alex Buchanan.

Alex is an active girl scout, earning the rank of Gold Award. Alex has attended a summer program each year she could on the topic of environmental science at great programs like the EPA. She has been a member of the National Honor Society, Student Government Association, Chick-fil-A Leader Academy, Buddies not Bullies, Spanish Club, Headbands for Hope, Trivia Club, and Environmental Club. She has also helped tutor younger students after school.


Our next senior spotlight is Sara Ahmed!

Sara was selected to attend Governor’s School, the most competitive summer program in North Carolina. Sara has also co-founded a library at the Save A Youth Center and has done lots of community service there, and also at World Relief Durham, the United Way and with the Wilson Youth Council. She attended the prestigious Summer Ventures program in Aquatic Ecology Research. Sara was one of the 3 juniors selected to represent Greenfield at the YMCA Young Leaders Institute.


We kick off this week’s senior spotlights with Ryann Jennings!

Ryann has served as the Editor of the yearbook and has been involved in many clubs on campus to include Youth and Government, Young Life, Chick-fil-A Leader Academy, Buddies not Bullies, Headbands for Hope, Drama Club, Environmental Club, and Trivia Club. She has traveled to Spain with her classmates and attended the NC State Design Camp for multiple years in high school.

NCISAA State Champions!!!

Queens again: Greenfield routs Christ Covenant for NCISAA 1-A title

No drama, no reenactment of a semifinal that cemented the indomitable spirit of the Greenfield School varsity girls soccer team.

Saturday’s North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association 1-A final on Forbes Field quickly turned into a celebration, an exhibition of how the Lady Knights meticulously prepared for a return to championship form.
